# How to change your server password on Valheim

This guide will help you on how to change your Valheim server password.

* Stop your server.
* Go to [CONFIGURATION FILES] button and edit [Start.bat] file
* Change your server password and name if you desire then press [SAVE]
* Start your server
* Done
