# How to generate procedural maps on your ARK: Survival Evolved Server

his guide will help you on how to setup and generate procedural maps.


HOW TO ENABLE AND RUN PROCEDURAL MAPS


* Stop your server
* Go to Configuration Files, edit Config.bat file, change the map to Procedural Map and Save the file
* Start server

HOW TO GENERATE NEW PROCEDURAL MAPS


* Enable Procedural Map first following the instructions above
* Go to Configuration Files and edit Game.ini with Configuration Editor option
* Enable the Procedural Generator in the end of the file
* Change the procedural name to one of your choice, adjust the settings as you like and Save the file
* Start server
