# How to install VPPAdminTools

|| This guide will help you on how to add yourself as an admin using VPPAdminTools.

* Stop the server
* Navigate to steam workshop
* Install CF
* Insall VPPAdminTools
* Start the server and let it fully start up to where you can connect
* Stop the server
* Navigate to filemanager > sc > vppadmintools > Permissions > credentials.txt
* Click the pencil icon to edit it
* In case of lost password, delete the content of THIS file you are reading, write a new password (32 Characters Maximum) on the very FIRST line, save file, restart DayZ Server
* Save the changes you made
* Start the server
* Connect to the server and open the options menu and set a keybinding for your vppadmintools
* Done
