# How to Make Private Space Engineers Server

### This guide will help you on how to make your server private.


1. Stop your server
2. Create  a steam group and add which players you want to be able to join the server
3. Add the steam group id to Dedicated Easy Configurator file under configuration files and click save 

(Please note to get your group id take your steam group link 
```https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GroupName```
Then add this memberslistxml/?xml=1 to the end ```https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GroupName/memberslistxml/?xml=1```
Then open the second link then grab your 64bit ID.
